This is not a comprehensive list and may be missing some changes, for example, undocumented hotfixes, PvP changes or uninteresting bug fixes.
Patch 12.1 is not yet released.
Spell Changes
- Buff All healing increased by 10%.
- Buff All healing increased by another 5%.
Priest Spells
- Buff Flash Heal mana cost reduced by 10%.
Holy Spells
- Buff Divine Hymn now additionally grants Guardian Spirit while channeled.
- Buff Benediction mana cost reduced by 30%.
- Buff Benediction healing increased by 15%.
- Change Benediction 3 (3rd Apex) changed so that Apotheosis no longer upgrades Flash Heal to Benediction. Holy Word: Serenity now has a 100% chance to upgrade your next Flash Heal to Benediction. Blizzard's Developers' notes:
We want to address Benediction’s performance by spreading its availability beyond Apotheosis and Prayer of Mending. Additionally, we are increasing the throughput of Benediction, so its impact is felt and contributes more to Holy’s overall throughput. Lastly, we want to further lessen how expensive the rotation of Holy is by specifically targeting Flash Heal and Prayer of Healing.
- Buff Benediction (the buff) now stacks to 2.
- Buff Apotheosis now reduces the mana cost of Holy Words by 70% (was 50%).
- Buff Prayer of Healing mana cost reduced by 10%.
- Buff Prayer of Mending healing increased by 20%.
Hero Spells
Archon
- Change Resonant Energy has been updated – Creating a Halo increases healing done by 2% for 10 seconds, stacking up to 4 times.
Oracle
- Buff Prompt Prognosis healing increased by 30%.
Midnight Systems
Season 2 Tier
Season 2 brings a relatively passive tier set based on Renew.
2-Set Bonus: Each target affected by your Renew increases your Critical Strike by 2%, up to 6%.
4-Set Bonus: Renew healing increased by 10%. Light's Resurgence now has a 100% chance to leave a Renew on the first target Prayer of Mending heals.

Bugs
Below is a list of things that are suspected to be bugs or unintended behaviour.
Important bugs
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Casting Divine Hymn with Guardian Angel talented puts Guardian Spirit on cooldown for 60 secs.
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 2-set bonus 2pc does not grant any visible bonus.
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Renew expiring on someone will remove a stack of 2pc Buff even if there are more Renews active. The buff isn't counting active renews but just goes up when one is applied and goes down when one is removed.
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Twins of the Sun Priestess does not trigger during Spirit of Redemption.
- Prayer of Healing casts consuming Surge of Light when talented into Spiritwell and Ultimate Serenity reduces the cooldown of Holy Word: Serenity by 12 seconds, not 10.
- Divine Hymn sometimes ticks for 5-10x more than it should.
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Divine Image can be bugged so it only despawns if you cast an empowered Naaru, or move 100 yards away.
- Dazzling Lights will sometimes not proc when casting Holy Word: Sanctify.
- Casting Flash Heal or Prayer of Healing and then mid-cast if you gain Surge of Light from Halo, when the cast completes you do not consume Surge of Light, but do get a mana discount.
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Halo will miss targets that are too close to you on the return from Divine Halos. See this github issue.
- The following spells do not trigger Echo of Light:

- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Trail of Light
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Binding Heals
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Desperate Prayer
Likely a bug
- None currently.
Hopefully a bug
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Ultimate Serenity can't be talented into while any charges of Holy Word: Sanctify are on cooldown.
Inconsistencies
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Binding Heals also triggers Protective Light on yourself regardless of your Flash Heal target.
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Evoker's Blessing of the Bronze which affects a movement enhancing ability for all classes, affects Leap of Faith for Priest.
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Evoker's Time Spiral which affects a movement enhancing ability for all classes, affects Leap of Faith for Priest.
- Tested 12.1.0.68914 Light of the Naaru CDR increase is not reflected in any ability tooltips.
